Using Tags to Organize Episodes & Guests

Tags are an incredible feature of HelloCast for organizing, finding, and filtering episodes and guests.

Among the potential uses?

For guests…

  • You could use it to tag guests who are male, or female, or from Houston, or who are authors, or whether you pitched them to join your show vs. you received in inbound request from them…
    • Use tags Male, Female, Houston, Author, Pitch or Inbound…
  • You could tag guests who are foodies, or who like the New York Mets, or who are current clients you’ve had on your show.
    • Use tags Foodie, New York Mets, Client…

For episodes…

  • You could use it to tag episodes where you did a livecast to Facebook, or where you used your fan-favorite segment of Five Questions, or where you did a rare Solo episode, with no guests.
    • Use tags Livecast, Five Questions, Solo…
  • You could tag episodes based on getting more than 1K downloads after the first 7 days, or where the episode included a reference to Monty Python, at this point you get the idea.
    • Use tags 1K, Python…

So how do you add tags?

Click the edit button to the right side, when viewing your episodes or guests. Once you’re in editing mode, you can add as many tags as your heart desires to any episode or guest.
